Griffith, Raging Wolves begin season

The Carolina Raging Wolves kicked off their 2010 Women's Football Alliance season with a 42-36 loss at the Tampa Bay Pirates on Saturday. It was not only the Raging Wolves' season opener but their first game ever.

Danielle Griffith, a Fike High product and a student at UNC Pembroke, registered a tackle for the Raging Wolves.

The Raging Wolves take on the Central Florida Anarchy this Saturday at 7 p.m. in their home opener at St. Pauls High School in St. Pauls.

  1. Saint,

Enough of these women's football stories. Link my MySpace here and I'll do you the favor of linking your blog across the extended UK network. You can then resume writing about sports that people care about such as ACC hoops. You can also give us a heads up on which elite prospects Cal will be plucking out of North Carolina for the next few years. Let me know on TGP and I'll send you the link again. We can make this work.
